Chief Instructor Tunku Rodrigues is a security strategist, instructor, author, and the Founder and Executive Director of Global Tactical Safety & Defense (GTSD), an integrated security infrastructure company providing security consulting, training, preparedness, technology, and operational security solutions for businesses, organizations, professionals, and individuals.

Rodrigues is the creator of The GLOTAC Protocol™, a six-pillar security and preparedness framework developed through GTSD to help individuals and organizations recognize threats earlier, identify vulnerabilities, strengthen environmental awareness, prepare intelligently, respond deliberately, and recover more effectively. Its guiding principle, “Security Begins Before the Emergency,” reflects his systems-based approach to modern security and risk management.

As Founder of Global GTSD Academy, Rodrigues develops and delivers professional education in firearms safety and qualification, security officer training, advanced security management, situational awareness, threat recognition, emergency preparedness, and organizational safety. He is a USCCA-certified Firearms Instructor, a security officer instructor authorized by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission, and is recognized and authorized to provide firearms instruction and applicable qualification training across multiple states and jurisdictions.

Rodrigues is also an author on security, preparedness, personal safety, and organizational risk. His work translates professional security concepts into practical frameworks that can be applied by individuals, security professionals, business leaders, and organizations.
