Tunku Rodrigues is a security strategist, security expert, author, and the Founder and Executive Director of Global Tactical Safety & Defense (GTSD), and Founder of GTSD Academy. GTSD is an integrated security infrastructure company that helps organizations assess, organize, connect, and manage security operations across leadership, technology, personnel, training, preparedness, incidents, corrective actions, and operational oversight.
Rodrigues created The GLOTAC Protocol™, a security and preparedness framework with six pillars (threat recognition, vulnerability assessment, environmental awareness, preparation and mitigation, response and decision, and recovery and resilience) applied through a repeating cycle: Recognize, Assess, Observe, Prepare, Respond, Recover, Reassess. Its guiding principle, “Security Begins Before the Emergency,” shapes how GTSD assesses risk, prepares organizations, and trains people.
Through GTSD he advances the Integrated Security Department™ model, which brings security leadership, assessment, training, technology, preparedness, and ongoing security management into one coordinated structure instead of a collection of separate vendors and products.
As Chief Instructor of GTSD Academy, Rodrigues develops and teaches courses in advanced security management, security officer training, threat recognition, situational awareness, emergency preparedness, organizational safety, and firearms safety and qualification.
